Role Overview
We are looking for an analytically skilled Senior Manager to lead SG&A (Selling, General & Administrative) Controlling across our regional brands: foodora, foodpanda, and Yemeksepeti, based in Singapore. This role involves building and managing a dedicated regional team focused on financial excellence and closely partnering with Regional Finance leadership and Workforce Planning teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer the comprehensive management of personnel and non-personnel expenses, continuously monitoring cost trends, assessing risks, and uncovering cost-saving opportunities.
- Establish and lead a high-performing team, mentoring talent to ensure the timely delivery of accurate and insightful financial reports.
- Act as a critical liaison between Regional Finance, Country Leaders, and People & Culture to synchronize headcount and personnel cost strategies with overall business growth.
- Ensure robust, standardized financial policies for FTE tracking and intercompany invoicing are enforced regionally.
- Provide strategic analytics by developing complex financial models that empower executive leadership with actionable insights for decision-making.
- Champion process automation by constructing scalable dashboards to deliver transparent, reliable visibility of SG&A metrics, eliminating manual workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Controlling or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including at least 2 to 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in dynamic sectors such as technology, e-commerce, or logistics, thriving amid rapid growth environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial data into compelling executive narratives and exert influence.
- Experience managing diverse regional stakeholders and functions, recognized as a trusted business partner beyond finance.
- Technical expertise in Excel and data visualization platforms like Tableau or SQL; familiarity with OneStream or Anaplan is advantageous.
