About the Role

This opportunity invites a Senior Manual QA Engineer based in Ireland to join a partner company operating within the rapidly expanding technology sector focused on gaming innovations. Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret product and technical documentation alongside functional specifications to craft effective testing methodologies.
Develop, update, and execute diversified test cases and scenarios, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
Conduct various testing forms including functional, regression, acceptance, and exploratory testing across product segments.
Validate essential game features such as return to player (RTP), volatility, payouts, bonus rounds, free spin functionalities, and gameplay behavior consistency.
Assure adherence to regulatory mandates and compliance standards through rigorous validation approaches.
Test software on an array of platforms including desktops, mobile devices, different browsers, and variable screen dimensions.
Evaluate system integrations involving external platforms, aggregators, operator infrastructures, and wallet solutions.
Execute performance and load testing to verify system resilience under high demand.
Verify correct operation of random number generators (RNG) to ensure fair gameplay mechanics.
Document, investigate, and analyze bugs with root cause assessments and suggest improvements.
Contribute to QA strategy development, optimize testing workflows, and promote quality benchmarks within the team.
Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and review support to junior QA engineers, sharing knowledge actively.
Collaborate with development teams regarding software delivery cycles for testing and production deployments.
Continuously monitor post-release system performance and maintain updated testing documentation and protocols.

Requirements

Minimum of three years’ experience in QA engineering or a related quality assurance role.
Comprehensive understanding of QA practices covering the entire software development lifecycle.
Proficiency with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or other equivalents.
Strong knowledge of client-server models, web technologies, and API testing fundamentals.
Experience working with Git workflows, utilizing platforms like GitLab, GitHub, or similar.
Familiarity with iGaming concepts including game mechanics, mathematical frameworks, and user-centric features.
Background in testing real-time systems, communication protocols, and related data transmission techniques.
Acquaintance with network traffic interception and analysis utilities.
Understanding of continuous integration/deployment pipelines, especially GitLab CI or analogous tools.
Ability to conduct database validations using SQL queries.
Strong analytical thinking along with independent test strategy development capabilities.
Collaborative approach while maintaining ownership of quality outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in testing iGaming industry products.
Capability to interpret and verify mathematical documentation such as math sheets and paytables.
Knowledge of certification process requirements and preparation for testing laboratories.
Experience performing performance testing and familiarity with associated tools and methods.
Experience mentoring or training QA team members in previous roles.
Basic exposure to test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or others.
Work experience in Agile or Scrum development setups.
