Senior Power BI Developer

Job Summary

This opportunity is for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer who is highly proficient in both Power BI and SQL; these two areas are essential for the role. The selected candidate will be responsible for building enterprise-grade dashboards, creating sophisticated data models, writing advanced SQL, and delivering business intelligence outputs that help leadership make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and support interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Build efficient data models in Power BI and improve the speed and responsiveness of reports.
• Author and fine-tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and other database objects.
• Work with business users and stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs.
• Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple source systems.
• Develop DAX calculations, calculated columns, and Power Query transformations.
• Maintain data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting deliverables.
• Investigate report issues and suggest ways to improve performance.
• Guide junior developers and encourage strong BI development practices.
