Senior Warehouse Manager

Overview

The Senior Warehouse Manager at Gubbacci Apparel oversees all warehouse activities across two facilities, ensuring precise inventory management, ERP-integrated workflows, operational excellence, prompt order completion, and effective liaison with Merchandising, QA/QC, Sales, Logistics, and Accounting departments. This pivotal role facilitates scaling warehouse operations, minimizing errors, accelerating turnaround times, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations of Warehouse 1 and Warehouse 2 with standardized procedures.
• Allocate staff based on demand fluctuations, track attendance, productivity, discipline, and enforce safety and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise inward material processing including fabrics, knits, and finished products ensuring accurate GRN creation, SKU verification, barcoding, tagging, and appropriate rack/bin assignment using Zoho Inventory ERP.
• Maintain real-time inventory integrity through regular cycle counts and audits; collaborate with ERP team to rectify discrepancies, enhance workflows, and train warehouse personnel on ERP adherence.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and Merchandising teams for quality inspections, measure verifications, handling of rejects, stock segregation, and ERP updates for hold/rejected stock.
• Ensure precise picking and packing with barcode verification, correct labeling including specific tagging requirements, and timely dispatch coordination with logistics partners with meticulous ERP record updates.
• Oversee logistics operations, monitoring shipments, transit, delivery confirmations, escalating issues promptly and supporting customer support for resolution of delivery-related concerns.
• Design and improve return and exchange processes, inspecting returned goods, updating ERP for stock adjustments, and minimizing losses from improper handling.
• Continuously improve procedures spanning inward, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns, recommending automation and optimizing layout for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Prepare and deliver detailed reports on inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, returns, damages, productivity, providing actionable insights to management.
• Uphold compliance with standard operating procedures, audits, and safety requirements, preventing shrinkage, controlling access strictly, and maintaining accountability.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of Zoho Inventory and associated Zoho applications.
• Extensive experience with warehouse operations and inventory control across multiple locations.
• Leadership capability managing sizable teams and coordinating cross-functional teams effectively.
