Job Responsibilities
- Develop creative strategies to enhance organic search traffic and increase search visibility.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research, maintaining updated targets based on volumes and competition levels.
- Optimize on-page SEO elements including landing pages, content ideation, keyword gap analysis to identify new opportunities, metadata refinement, and redirect management.
- Collaborate with technology teams to improve site infrastructure for search engine crawlers focusing on schema markup, JavaScript crawlability, and site speed metrics such as Core Web Vitals.
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Site Merchandising, Engineering, UX, Design, and Product to implement SEO best practices and integrate insights for planning and program execution.
- Manage backlink profiles by maximizing coverage, scouting new link-building prospects, and addressing unlinked brand mentions.
- Investigate SEO-related issues promptly, perform ad hoc data analyses, and escalate problems when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously educate yourself on current SEO trends and tactics to comply with search engine guidelines and maintain competitive advantage.
- Advocate for a superior user experience for visitors arriving via search engines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field; alternatively, an Associate’s degree with 2–3 years of pertinent work experience.
- A minimum of one year of experience in search marketing.
- Proficiency with web analytics and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge, and Ahrefs.
- A keen willingness to learn and adapt to the evolving landscape of search engine results page features and algorithms.
