Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Consultant / Developer to join our team at our Gurugram office in a hybrid working mode. The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 8 years of hands-on expertise with SharePoint Online (SPFx), SharePoint On-Premises platforms, and Microsoft 365 to design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise-level collaboration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to build reusable components and web parts.
- Design, develop, and support SharePoint Online and On-Premises deployments with modern UI technologies such as React.js or Angular.
- Create business workflows and applications leveraging Power Platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Generate dashboards and reports using Power BI for data-driven insights.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services, SQL Server, Active Directory, SAP, SuccessFactors, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for SharePoint integration and automation.
- Provide production support, resolve technical issues, participate in release management, testing, and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, technical discussions, and solution architecture planning.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of professional experience in SharePoint development with strong emphasis on SPFx.
- Proficiency in SharePoint Online and On-Premises development and administration.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and related services.
- Experience in front-end development using React.js or Angular frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in C# and JavaScript, with familiarity in jQuery, REST APIs, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of SharePoint architecture including security model and permissions setup.
- Ability to troubleshoot production-level issues efficiently and provide timely application support.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Good communication skills for effective stakeholder and team collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating SAP or SuccessFactors with SharePoint.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and Active Directory integrations.
- Hands-on knowledge of SharePoint Designer Workflows and customization of Page Layouts and Master Pages.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployment automation practices.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft SharePoint or Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Exposure to enterprise digital transformation projects.
Important Notes
Candidates who possess only basic SharePoint administration experience without development expertise in SPFx or Power Platform will not be considered. The role requires significant practical experience in SharePoint customization and enterprise-grade implementation.
