About the Role
Muiríosa Foundation invites applications for the roles of Social Care Workers and Support Workers to join a dedicated team at the Offaly Day Services. Positions are available at multiple locations including Tullamore, Ballycumber, Clara, and Edenderry with various contract hours offered. Employees will help individuals develop independent living skills, promote community inclusion, and support personal health and wellness.

Applicant Requirements
- Holds a recognized Diploma in Social Care, Applied Social Studies in Social Care/Disability, or Social Care Practice at Level 7 (National Framework of Qualifications) approved by CORU, with registration completed or in process; alternatively, Nursing qualifications registered with NMBI (RNID, General, Mental Health) or an HSE-recognized FETAC/QQI Level 5 major award or willingness to obtain this qualification.
- Valid driving license for a manual vehicle in Ireland.
- Understanding of New Directions methodology.
- Experience supporting individuals with diverse needs, including behaviours of concern.
- Capability to use initiative and plan effectively.
- Basic IT competency including email, word processing, and system navigation.
- Meets suitability criteria outlined for the role.
Compensation
Competitive remuneration following HSE payscales:
Social Care Worker: €41,260 - €57,789
Support Worker: €34,881 - €48,434
