About the Role

This Software Engineer position is part of a dynamic Core Banking Engineering team focused on global success by executing targeted goals, strategies and initiatives supporting business objectives. The team emphasizes compliance with all relevant laws, internal policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 6 years of software development experience, including minimum 4 years in hands-on roles involving design, engineering, and debugging.
• Strong expertise designing and building cloud-based APIs with consideration for scalability, security, and distributed system performance.
• Proficient in Spring Boot microservices, Java/J2EE, and Web Services (REST & SOAP).
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools like CI/CD, Helm, Harness, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Background integrating third-party SaaS services, libraries, and SDKs.
• Familiarity with cloud development concepts, particularly using GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of Angular 2+, JavaScript, JUnit, JSON, HTML, XSL, and XML is advantageous.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, and ensuring compliance.
• Core banking domain experience with insights into financial systems, transaction workflows, and enterprise regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to support production environments through incident management, root cause analysis, and proactive problem prevention.
• Enthusiasm for applying emerging technologies such as AI/ML to address business and technical challenges creatively.
• Contribute valuable recommendations to improve engineering processes.
• Adopt an outcome-driven mindset for solving problems and delivering results.
• Academic credentials include a university or college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
