Role Overview

This role centers on joining our Response Network as a Sonder Responder providing in-person assistance to members in need, coordinated with our Support Centre. The position is casual with flexible, on-call shifts, ideal for current or former workers in relevant industries seeking work-life balance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Flexibly serving on a 24-hour on-call rotation
  • Helping develop and expand the New Zealand responder network
  • Exercising sound judgement, empathy, and rapid decision-making during critical incidents
  • Nominating your availability hours and receiving competitive pay for availability and incident response
  • Supporting the Response Network Manager by engaging stakeholders, training partners, contributing to operational processes, and participating in emergency and non-emergency responses as needed
