Role Overview
The State Administration Manager is accountable for directing all administrative functions across branches within the Karnataka state. This role ensures seamless branch operations, manages infrastructure readiness and expansion, enforces statutory compliance, coordinates vendor activities, oversees cost efficiency, and supports the organization's growth through operational excellence and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise administrative processes and branch operations within the state.
- Oversee facility management tasks including preventive maintenance, asset oversight, and vendor performance evaluation.
- Lead infrastructure projects involving site preparation and the rollout of new branches.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and internal audit requirements.
- Manage financial aspects such as administrative budgets, utility expenses, vendor payments, and cost optimization measures.
- Direct and mentor state-level administrative personnel, contract employees, and support teams.

Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL), a top-tier non-deposit taking NBFC registered with RBI, boasts a diversified presence with an extensive lending portfolio amounting to approximately Rs. 139,500 Crores as of September 31, 2025. ABCL serves varied customers including retail, HNI, MSMEs, and corporate sectors with a wide array of loan products such as secured/unsecured retail loans, business loans, health and education financing, SME and corporate loans, and wealth management services.
Gold Loans remain a critical high-volume secured lending product necessitating rigorous operational governance due to their sensitive nature, requiring discipline in risk control, valuation accuracy, and customer confidence.
Challenges and Key Performance Areas
- Overseeing administrative responsibilities over a geographically widespread branch network.
- Delivering infrastructure and facility projects within prescribed budgets and deadlines.
- Maintaining statutory and regulatory compliance across various districts and cities.
- Optimizing operational efficiency while controlling and reducing costs.
- Coordinating multiple vendors and stakeholders without compromising service standards.
Additional Duties
- Ensure smooth branch housekeeping, security, utilities management, and maintenance activities.
- Manage all aspects of branch expansion including civil works, electrical setups, interiors, and branding efforts.
- Maintain all statutory compliance documents, prepare management information system (MIS) reports, respond to audit inquiries, and oversee the asset lifecycle.
- Negotiate and monitor service agreements with facility management vendors and liaise with cross-functional teams such as HR, Finance, Risk, and Procurement.
- Supervise contract staff performance to sustain consistent productivity.
