Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a part-time Supply Chain Manager based in Berlin, Germany, offering a hybrid work model with the option to work remotely some days. This role entails overseeing comprehensive supply chain functions such as demand planning, inventory management, procurement coordination, and supplier relations to support both internal operations and customer projects.

Key Duties

• Analyze supply and demand metrics to optimize stock availability and replenishment timings.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities including vendor negotiation and contract management.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure punctual delivery of goods and services.
• Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Produce routine performance reports and maintain thorough documentation for supply chain activities.
• Contribute to strategic supply chain planning aimed at scalability and growth.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in supply chain and inventory management.
• Experience with demand forecasting and planning to align supply with operational requirements.
• Strong analytical capabilities for data interpretation and decision-making.
• Skilled in procurement processes including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract oversight.
• Background in supply chain, logistics, or operations management; experience in technology or service sectors is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, business, or related discipline.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration in a hybrid environment.
• Proficiency in supply chain software or ERP systems, advanced spreadsheet use; knowledge of analytics/reporting tools is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage competing priorities within a part-time schedule.
• Professional fluency in English required; knowledge of German is beneficial.
