About Waymo
Waymo is dedicated to advancing autonomous driving technology with the goal of becoming the world's most trusted driver. Originating as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has developed the Waymo Driver—an autonomous driving system that has contributed to over ten million rider-only trips and driven over 100 million miles on public roads across more than 15 U.S. states. This technology underpins Waymo’s ride-hail service and is adaptable across various vehicle platforms.
Waymo Operations focuses on deploying and scaling this autonomous fleet globally, ensuring a seamless integration from component sourcing through end-customer service. The company fosters a collaborative culture that values diverse backgrounds and encourages idea sharing to better serve communities.
