Overview

Convex Tech is looking for a proficient IT System Administrator to oversee and support the IT infrastructure based in Lakadikapul, Hyderabad. This full-time position involves ensuring smooth operation, security, and reliability of servers, networks, and related technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
Track system performance, diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP services, and user account administration.
Execute backup routines, disaster recovery plans, and data restoration tasks.
Install and upgrade operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
Apply security protocols including patch deployment and vulnerability management.
Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Offer technical support resolving end-user IT challenges.
Document system configurations, procedures, and relevant infrastructure details.
Work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams on infrastructure initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Possess a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of two years' experience in system administration or IT infrastructure support roles.
In-depth understanding of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network principles.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, or AWS.
Knowledgeable in backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
