Key Responsibilities
- Conduct screening calls to evaluate candidate qualifications, motivation, and suitability for roles.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and panels involving candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
- Participate in discovery calls with hiring managers to clarify job role requirements.
- Maintain and format job description templates and recruiting documents.
- Assist in sourcing and screening resumes to identify strong candidates before interviews.
- Manage spreadsheets tracking candidate pipelines and recruitment metrics to identify trends.
- Support administrative tasks within the Talent Acquisition team and draft candidate communications.
- Maintain constant communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive recruitment experience and handling sensitive interactions professionally.
- Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent time management skills, able to juggle multiple candidate conversations, deadlines, and schedules simultaneously.
- Strong verbal communication skills for regular phone and video discussions with candidates and hiring managers.
- Effective written communication skills for professional candidate correspondence and internal documentation.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Excel or Google Sheets) for tracking recruitment data.
- Genuine enthusiasm for talent acquisition, recruiting, or human resources as a career.
- Capability to work independently on a part-time (~25 hours/week) remote schedule while coordinating effectively with the team.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada or the United States.
