Role Overview
Seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner to join the People team, focusing on collaborating with leaders within the Operations division. The position involves developing talent pipelines, implementing recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. The role also acts as an advisor, offering market trends and recruitment expertise to align hiring with business goals. Primarily onsite at the Hamilton location, the role supports teams in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations Performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers and People Business Partners to assess workforce needs and craft effective recruitment approaches
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle for diverse roles within Operations
- Engage actively in candidate sourcing through various platforms including job boards, professional networks, and LinkedIn
- Develop and sustain talent pools to meet future hiring demands
- Ensure an excellent and professional candidate journey throughout recruitment phases
- Provide market insights and recruitment advice to aid hiring decisions
- Enhance and promote Gallagher's employer brand to attract quality talent
- Utilize recruitment tools and technologies to optimize hiring processes
- Track recruitment activities and deliver reporting and analytics to stakeholders
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants are proactive, capable of managing multiple priorities, adept at building strong relationships, and able to balance strategic planning with hands-on recruitment execution. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to influence leaders and provide recruitment expertise.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated end-to-end recruitment or talent acquisition expertise
- Skilled in sourcing and creating talent pipelines
- Effective at partnering with leaders and influencing hiring choices
- Strong stakeholder relationship management capabilities
- Ability to juggle multiple openings and priorities smoothly
- Excellent communication and organizational aptitude
- Proficient with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology
- Solution-driven mindset with continuous improvement focus
- Experience recruiting in manufacturing, industrial, operations, or technical sectors is beneficial
