Technical Consultant - Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert Level 2 and Level 3 technical support across diverse technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving Windows Server, networking, Azure, Microsoft 365, and security applications.
• Offer after-hours support on a rotating schedule.
• Build strong client relationships acting as a trusted technical advisor to ensure seamless support experiences.
• Assess clients' business requirements and contribute strategic insights to business system planning.
• Maintain and proactively manage customer infrastructure and technical documentation.
• Consult on the design and deployment of high-quality technical solutions and projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to promote a culture of service excellence and innovative work methods.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Outstanding troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Strong skills in building and managing customer relationships.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance standards effectively.
• Proficient in presenting technical information clearly to various audiences.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 platforms including identity management (AzureAD, AD Connect, ADFS, Microsoft Identity Manager), Office 365 collaboration tools (Teams, Planner, Groups, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online), and video conferencing solutions (Teams, Poly, Neat, Zoom).
• Knowledge of email security and archiving technologies such as Office 365 ATP/EOP, Datto, and Avepoint.
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM and Intune for modern management, including platform maintenance, security configuration, OS/application patching, lifecycle updates, and platform changes.
• Broad technical understanding of Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, ADFS, DHCP, DFS, virtualization technologies (VMware, Azure, AWS), networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routing), Microsoft Azure services (VMs, virtual networking, Azure AD, WVD, PaaS), Windows 11, Mac OS, antivirus, backup, security tools, and endpoint protection.
