Technical Support Engineer

Job Overview

The role involves delivering technical support before and after sales for the company's products in the local Singapore market, addressing customer inquiries throughout product usage.

Key Duties

• Provide direct, in-person technical consultations and support product validation when necessary.
• Support sales efforts by expanding and maintaining the local customer base, tracking prospects, and sustaining existing accounts to meet sales targets.
• Offer product knowledge and technical training to both sales teams and customers.
• Gather market intelligence including competitor activities, product updates, and international exhibition insights.

Candidate Requirements

• A master’s degree or higher, preferably in biology, medicine, or related fields.
• At least two years of experience providing technical support is preferred.
• Familiarity with molecular biology concepts, gene expression, vector construction, or transgenesis is advantageous.
• Ability to independently organize and lead seminars and workshops.
• Fluent spoken English and proficiency with computers and standard office software.
• Demonstrated initiative, strong communication capabilities, teamwork orientation, along with problem-solving skills and resilience.
