About Harris Farm Markets and the Role
Harris Farm Markets thrives on leadership fueled by passion for people, fresh products, and exceptional customer experience. We're seeking a dedicated retail leader to support and lead a high-energy team in our flagship store based in Albury, New South Wales. This role offers the chance to learn all aspects of managing a Harris Farm store—from hands-on floor duties to detailed store metrics.
As a Trainee Store Manager, you'll collaborate closely with the Store Manager to guide the team, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain a smoothly functioning store that's always well-stocked and appealing. Our role involves immersive, practical training covering team leadership, staff rostering, merchandising, and regulatory compliance. The position features a formal training program with clear performance milestones, consistent mentoring, and frequent feedback from senior retail leaders aimed at shaping you into a top-tier store manager. Rather than desk work, expect to be on the shop floor, deeply engaged in daily operations according to Harris Farm standards.
If you are relocating to Albury for this opportunity, you'll benefit from a relocation package that reimburses moving expenses and provides temporary accommodation assistance.

- Uphold food safety, workplace safety, and compliance standards, while aiding injured employees’ return to work.

Candidate Profile and Experience
- Previous retail or hospitality leadership experience, ideally involving team supervision.
- Genuine enthusiasm for fresh food, particularly fruits and vegetables.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities including people and product in a fast-paced setting effectively.
Personal Qualities
- Ambitious to develop into a broader leadership position.
- Team-oriented approach, valuing collective success over individual credit.
- Emotionally intelligent communication skills, understanding team dynamics.
