Role Purpose
The Upwork Bidder will play a crucial role in scouting for relevant projects on Upwork, crafting compelling proposals, and handling client communications to bolster the company’s technology and digital ventures. Daily activities include researching job postings, interpreting client needs, creating tailored bids, liaising with internal teams for technical insights, and engaging with prospective clients to improve conversion rates. This position requires diligent record keeping of bids, monitoring success metrics, and providing feedback to enhance proposal effectiveness. The role is full-time and based on-site in Lahore, fostering close coordination with the business development and project implementation teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient proposal writing and professional business communication skills, capable of clearly and persuasively presenting complex services.
- Experience in online bidding, lead generation, or business development on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, or similar freelance marketplaces.
- Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate project details, budgets, and client requirements effectively.
- Basic knowledge of software development, digital marketing, or related technology services to ensure bid alignment with internal expertise.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, showcasing keen attention to detail and professionalism in client interactions.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple bids simultaneously, meet established daily and weekly targets, and work on-site in Lahore.
- Educational background in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields preferred; prior experience in similar roles considered advantageous.
- Familiarity with productivity applications, CRM systems or tracking tools, and online collaboration platforms is essential.
