Role Overview

The Warehouse Assistant plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse functions by ensuring precise inventory management, correct documentation, and smooth processing of shipments. The position involves managing both inbound and outbound logistics, keeping detailed records, and utilizing warehouse systems to optimize operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse tasks such as receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Manage coordination of inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee timely processing.
• Accurately maintain inventory and warehouse record-keeping.
• Prepare and update necessary warehouse paperwork and reports.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and client requirements.
• Collaborate with the operations team to streamline workflow and ensure prompt delivery schedules.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and comply with safety standards.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Experience working in warehouse operations, ideally within freight forwarding or the logistics sector.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is beneficial.
• Proficient in computer applications, especially Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Capable of working autonomously, prioritizing duties effectively, and meeting deadlines.
