Role Overview
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the warehousing strategy aligned with company goals, developing operational standards, and enhancing warehouse systems. Your responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end warehouse activities such as goods receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment while ensuring efficiency and reducing error rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop warehousing plans and standards based on company strategy, build and refine warehousing management systems.
- Plan warehouse layouts and equipment setup to promote standardization and intelligent transformation.
- Supervise the entire warehouse operation process including receiving, storage, inventory audits, and order handling.
- Monitor inventory metrics like turnover rates and accuracy to streamline operations and reduce losses.
- Analyze warehousing costs including labor, equipment, and space; create strategies to optimize expenses and improve process efficiency with automation tools.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate warehouse teams; improve organizational structure and enhance team effectiveness.
- Establish robust safety management practices, manage emergencies, control risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with logistics, sales, and other departments to optimize supply chain integration and customer satisfaction.
