Role Overview

As a Warehouse Operation Specialist at Leshines in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will play a crucial role in steering daily warehouse functions. Your duties encompass managing inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating shift transitions, guaranteeing data accuracy in Warehouse Management Systems, and enforcing rigorous safety and quality standards. Collaborating directly with the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the workflow of warehouse operators and seek continuous enhancements in pick, pack, and shipping procedures. This position demands operational discipline, leadership proficiency, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily warehouse tasks in alignment with the manager’s instructions to balance shipment inflows and outflows, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
• Conduct daily briefing sessions with warehouse personnel to outline operational focuses, tackle challenges, and facilitate smooth shift handovers.
• Supervise the onboarding and training processes for new team members, emphasizing SOP adherence and safety compliance.
• Serve as the main contact for managing staff leave schedules and backup coverage to maintain consistent operations.
• Maintain real-time accuracy of data within the Warehouse Management System for all warehouse transactions.
• Identify inefficiencies within the pick-pack-ship cycle and recommend improvements to the Warehouse Manager.
• Plan and document preventive maintenance activities for warehouse equipment as per company policies.
• Generate and submit detailed operational reports on daily, weekly, and monthly bases using standard formats.
• Lead daily stock cycle counts for each SKU to guarantee stock accuracy, promptly investigate discrepancies.
• Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to corroborate system records with physical inventory.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damages, quantities, and compliance against purchase and sales orders.
• Optimize warehouse slotting strategies to minimize picker travel distance and enhance efficiency.
• Enforce complete compliance with company Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies among staff and organize regular safety trainings.
• Manage storage, handling, and documentation procedures for hazardous and temperature-sensitive goods, following IATA and relevant regulations.
• Promptly investigate near-misses and incidents; implement corrective actions to avert future occurrences.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization per 5S standards, reporting any deviations immediately.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in warehouse operations, ideally in fast-paced sectors like high-tech or electronics with stringent compliance needs.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written, mandatory; proficiency in Chinese is advantageous.
• Preferred certification in Dangerous Goods Handling such as IATA or its equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and ERP platforms; strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Well-versed in inventory control methods including FIFO and LIFO.
• Proven leadership, effective communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to function well under pressure and adapt swiftly to shifting priorities.
