Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Welders proficient in arc and gas welding/cutting techniques for pipelines, vessels, structural steel, and assorted equipment. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to weld different materials in all positions while adhering strictly to ASME and BS welding standards, producing welds that pass rigorous 100% radiographic inspections.

Qualifications and Education

• Secondary education from a technical school plus two years of technical training in welding.
• Full qualification according to ASME Section IX (6G) or BS 4871 welding codes.
• Current valid welding certifications are an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• At least five years of practical involvement in arc and gas welding/cutting duties.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure piping and thick plate welding meeting ASME 6G specifications.
• Documented success in producing welds that satisfy 100% radiographic test standards (RT).

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply arc and gas welding techniques on pipelines, vessels, structural steel, and other industrial hardware.
• Execute welding operations in all positions compliant with ASME Section IX or BS standards, utilizing certified procedures.
• Handling welding tasks involving a range of metals, including carbon steel (API 5L), LF2 steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminum brass, copper, nickel alloys, chromium alloys, as well as materials resistant to corrosion and high temperature.
• Perform cutting, fabrication, and necessary repairs.
• Ensure welds meet 100% radiographic inspection criteria.
• Support operations such as hot tapping of pipelines, stress relieving welded joints, and pigging tasks.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and quality assurance procedures.
