18T Delivery Driver

About the role

This position is a local delivery driving role where you’ll become a key part of the transport team and help customers receive stock reliably and on time. The job is based on a 45-hour working week and offers variety through local routes, regular customer contact, and hands-on delivery work. The rota follows an any 5 days from 7 pattern, so weekend shifts will be part of the schedule. Overtime opportunities are also available, and fully funded CPC training hours are provided.

Key duties

You will be responsible for loading products at the branch, delivering them to customer sites, unloading the vehicle, and making sure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly. A major part of the role is helping customers keep their shelves stocked with the goods they need.

What you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Cat C / 18T licence and have at least two years of driving experience. Previous experience in delivery driving is preferred. The job also requires the ability to complete manual deliveries, along with strong communication skills, a positive customer-focused approach, and solid reading, writing, and number skills.
