Role overview
An opportunity is open in Saudi Arabia for an AC Mechanic to support air-conditioning systems used on marine vessels. The role focuses on maintaining reliable cooling performance through inspection, upkeep, fault-finding, and repairs. You will be part of a Middle East team serving a marine operations environment.
Key responsibilities
- Fit, check, service, and restore air-conditioning units and related systems on different marine vessels.
- Investigate faults, identify the underlying issues, and recommend practical repair approaches.
- Carry out scheduled servicing to keep equipment running efficiently and reduce the chance of failures.
- Track refrigerant quantities, pressure readings, and temperature settings to remain within required standards.
- Maintain precise logs of maintenance work, repair activity, and component usage.
- Support vessel machinery and equipment repairs whenever additional help is needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as an AC Mechanic, ideally in marine operations or a similar setting.
- Solid understanding of air-conditioning systems, their parts, refrigerants, and safe handling and disposal practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints, along with strong troubleshooting ability.
- Awareness of safety standards and procedures relevant to marine AC maintenance.
- A Diploma or Professional Certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is required.
- Physical readiness to work in confined spaces and demanding conditions.
- Willingness to travel at short notice across Saudi Arabia.

Additional information
This role is structured as a full-time position on an 18-weeks-on, 9-weeks-off rotation. Interviews may be conducted online or in person. If selected, an offer will follow, with the expectation that the successful candidate joins the company after the process is complete.
