Academic Counsellor

Introduction

The role of Academic Counsellor involves managing student admissions by effectively converting prospective student inquiries into confirmed enrollments through skilled consultative sales and proficient CRM handling.

Primary Duties

• Engage prospective students via phone and video calls to convert leads into actual admissions.
• Recommend appropriate educational courses aligning with students' career aspirations and address any fee-related concerns professionally.
• Maintain and update the CRM system diligently by recording call details, monitor progress of leads, and schedule necessary follow-ups.
• Consistently accomplish weekly and monthly enrollment targets set by the admissions department.

Candidate Profile

• Educational qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline, preferably Business, Marketing, or Communications.
• Previous experience ranging from one to three years in fields like Inside Sales, Education Technology sales, BPO sector, or Admissions Counseling.
• Strong command of English and Hindi communication skills, expertise in telesales, effective objection handling, and familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or LeadSquared.
• A driven, target-focused individual with the resilience to manage cold calls successfully.
