With its growth spanning direct-to-consumer (D2C), multiple marketplaces, quick commerce, and physical retail stores, the company is seeking a meticulous Accountant to oversee daily finance and accounting activities at its Gurugram, Haryana location.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company's accounting books using Tally Prime software.
• Update records for sales, purchases, expenses, and payments on a daily basis.
• Generate and maintain invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and purchase orders accurately.
• Handle both accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
• Conduct daily reconciliations of bank statements and ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with the Chartered Accountant to support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Process payments to vendors and keep track of payment schedules.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all accounting records.
• Match inventory data with warehouse stock and sales figures.
• Assist with monthly financial closure and prepare fundamental management information system (MIS) reports.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors to follow up on any outstanding payments.
• Maintain records of petty cash and employee reimbursement claims.
• Provide necessary documentation to support internal and statutory audits.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in all financial recordkeeping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent finance-related qualification.
• Between 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Proficient in using Tally Prime accounting software.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping practices.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filtering, sorting, and generating basic reports.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective organizational and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills and Traits

• Experience working in FMCG, D2C, or e-commerce environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with inventory accounting procedures.
• Capability to work independently and meet deadlines.
