Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Sindu Enterprises, located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
Primary Duties
- Generate and distribute financial reports, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and profit and loss summaries within designated timelines.
- Perform thorough reconciliation of bank statements, general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to maintain accurate records.
- Calculate applicable taxes, prepare and file tax returns, while ensuring adherence to local and federal tax laws.
- Support the preparation of budget forecasts and analyze discrepancies between actual expenses and planned budgets.
- Conduct internal audits and work collaboratively with external auditors for precise documentation and compliance.
- Evaluate financial liquidity and risks regularly; provide recommendations aimed at maximizing company profitability.
