Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete accounting cycle, including preparation of journals, schedules, and reconciliations with full supporting documentation to ensure accurate and timely monthly and year-end closing.
  • Collaborate with auditors during annual statutory audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Assist the tax department by providing precise and timely data for tax filings and related tasks.
  • Prepare and review financial reports for regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor key financial performance indicators as required.
  • Offer financial and accounting support to internal stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain relevant accounting policies.
  • Participate in reviewing, improving, and implementing financial control processes.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, corporate procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects initiated within the Finance Department.
  • Undertake any other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Applicants should hold a diploma or degree in accounting with 2 to 5 years of pertinent accounting experience.
  • Candidates with auditing experience from Big 4 firms are particularly encouraged to apply.
  • A positive work attitude is essential.
  • Must demonstrate responsibility, self-motivation, and resourcefulness in fulfilling assigned tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • A proactive approach and eagerness to learn are highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are important.
  • Dependable and goal-oriented team player.
  • Able to manage work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
