Position Overview
Bombay Wheels is seeking a meticulous and dependable Accountant to join our team at our Okhla Phase-1, New Delhi office. This role centers on managing financial records using Tally software and supporting day-to-day accounting tasks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Record and manage sales and purchase transactions within Tally accounting software.
- Prepare and maintain all invoices, purchase bills, and maintain comprehensive GST documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and uphold ledger accuracy.
- Keep updated records of stock and accounting information.
- Liaise with vendors and customers to manage payment processes effectively.
- Support monthly accounting operations and compilation of Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and systematic filing of financial records.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Tally accounting software, preferably Tally Prime.
- Working understanding of GST, sales, and purchase accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring accuracy in accounting entries.
- Prior accounting experience ranging from 1 to 3 years is desirable.
- Educational qualification: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent degree.
Compensation
Monthly salary range between 15,000 and 18,000 INR, commensurate with experience.
