Position Summary

The Accounts Trainee role at Xeinadin offers an engaging opportunity to obtain practical experience while pursuing a recognized accountancy qualification like AAT. The position involves involvement in key accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, VAT return preparation, year-end accounts compilation, tax submission, and payroll management. Trainees will collaborate with seasoned professionals, honing their skills within a supportive and dynamic framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support preparation of accounts for limited companies and sole traders, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and accuracy.
  • Handle business and self-assessment tax returns for clients, guaranteeing timely and regulatory-compliant filings.
  • Complete VAT return submissions and perform bookkeeping duties, maintaining precise financial records.
  • Engage with clients to collect financial information and generate management reports that illuminate their fiscal situations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in balancing sheet items to ensure up-to-date and accurate financial documentation.

Candidate Requirements

  • Recent graduate or college leaver aspiring to earn an accountancy qualification such as AAT, with strong enthusiasm for learning.
