Job Summary
As an Admin Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and servicing of workshop machinery and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Key Duties
- Maintain and perform servicing on various workshop machines and tools.
- Operate equipment such as bandsaws, pillar drills, circular saws, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and risk assessments.
- Prepare necessary materials and resources to assist with practical teaching and learning activities.
- Assist in creating risk assessments, managing health and safety records, and ensure compliance with workshop safety standards.
- Work closely with teaching personnel and colleagues to address and resolve any technical difficulties, maintaining a safe and efficient workshop environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with CAD software is desirable.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining safety standards.
