About MindFriend and Our Mission
MindFriend is a pioneering digital platform dedicated to broadening access to mental health education and digital well-being. Operating on a mission-centered and barrier-free approach, we offer free, research-supported mental health education to the public through social media. Additionally, we provide a completely free, verified directory of clinicians, including Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and Psychotherapists, with no fees for listing or paywalls.
Role Purpose
To aid our accelerated expansion and uphold the ethical standards of our free clinician network, we seek Strategic and Clinical Advisory Board Members. Ideal candidates are mission-driven leaders prepared to contribute their expertise, influence, and strategic insights.
Candidate Profiles
- Executive & Governance Track: Individuals who are current or past founders, CEOs, or board members of significant organizations; senior professionals from NGOs, non-profits, or governmental bodies emphasizing public health, mental health advocacy, or social impact.
- Clinical & Psychiatric Track: Licensed or registered clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, or allied professionals passionate about digital health ethics, maintaining professional standards, and broadening access to complimentary mental health services.
Key Responsibilities and Commitments
- This role is structured for minimal operational involvement, designed to accommodate busy executives and clinicians without daily or weekly demands.
- Participation in one to two formal advisory meetings annually to evaluate strategic plans and platform integrity.
- Occasional representation duties at targeted industry conferences, community gatherings, or sponsored events to act as an ambassador for MindFriend.
Compensation and Benefits
- Consultants receive £100 per hour for advisory and consulting sessions.
- All travel expenses for annual meetings or sponsored engagements, including flights and hotel accommodation, are fully covered by MindFriend.
- Advisors gain prominent exposure as trusted board members on MindFriend's website, public directories, investor presentations, and marketing content.
