Role Overview
The Analyst will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system to enhance organizational security posture. The role involves managing logs, configuring alerts, monitoring the SIEM platform, and assisting in incident response activities.
Key Duties
- Manage and administer the SIEM platform including overseeing log management and alert setup.
- Monitor the system to detect and respond to security threats.
- Assist in triaging and investigating security incidents to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
- Analyze collected security data to pinpoint threats and system weaknesses.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and generate reports related to security events.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions aimed at improving SIEM-specific knowledge and capabilities.
