Job Summary

Boardwalk is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaner for its properties in Victoria, BC. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, take pride in their work, and thrive both independently and as part of a team. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our residential communities.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of building common areas, including entrances, elevators, offices, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage areas, and amenity spaces.
• Clean vacant residential units and conduct touch-up tasks in occupied suites.
• Manage interior and exterior garbage collection and disposal.
• Provide assistance with snow removal and minor painting touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working order and properly maintained.
• Undertake additional tasks and support other sites as required by management.

Experience and Educational Requirements

• A minimum of two years of professional cleaning experience is mandatory.

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
• Basic familiarity with technology is considered an advantage.

Non-Technical Requirements

• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift for up to eight hours daily.
• Capability to move objects weighing up to 90kg with appropriate equipment.
• A strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent skills in managing time effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
• A consistently positive attitude and demonstrable enthusiasm for the role.

Additional Requirements

• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle.
