Overview
We are partnering with a global leader seeking a seasoned technology professional to spearhead architecture, engineering, and platform delivery for extensive Data & AI initiatives based in Qatar. This opportunity offers a comprehensive compensation package alongside family benefits and educational support for children.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture high-performing teams including architects, engineers, platform experts, and technical consultants.
- Promote and implement best engineering practices covering Kubernetes, cloud-native ecosystems, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, and MLOps frameworks.
- Ensure technical excellence, maintain governance, and achieve successful outcomes in major client projects.
- Drive the technical strategy and operational deployment of large-scale Data & AI platforms, managing the lifecycle from design through production.
- Serve as the top technical authority for infrastructure, platform architecture, and engineering choices spanning various projects.
- Manage the design and rollout of scalable, secure, and resilient platforms across on-premise, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud settings.
- Contribute to ongoing technical innovation and advancement of contemporary engineering capabilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure or cloud platform engineering, data platforms, or AI technologies.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role in Data & AI, Platform Engineering, or a technical practice.
- Extensive practical experience in deploying enterprise platforms utilizing Kubernetes, cloud-native tools, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and MLOps.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle, Informatica, and current cloud-native data platform technologies.
- Experience managing solutions in on-premise, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and guide technical teams through complex transformation programs.
- Arabic language skills are preferred.
