Swiggy is hiring an Assistant Manager for Business Development focused on Financial Services. This role is based in Delhi, with work from the base location and regular travel across the North region. Work location and travel
The employee will be based in Delhi. The role requires frequent travel within the North region to manage partner relationships, market activity, and business development efforts.
Key responsibilities
The role involves managing the complete lead journey from sourcing to loan disbursal for restaurant partners in the assigned territory.
- Develop and nurture relationships with restaurant owners and key decision-makers to move leads through the full financing funnel.
- Create a robust outbound lead pipeline through direct restaurant outreach, local networking, and market research.
- Work with restaurant owners, DSAs, CAs, brokers, and local business groups to generate quality prospects.
- Identify restaurants in growth or expansion phases and build demand for capex and working capital financing through field activations and new initiatives.
- Spend time in the field each day to source, qualify, and convert strong restaurant partner leads.
- Coordinate with Swiggy sales teams and lending partners to improve conversions and close deals.
- Run weekly review calls with account management teams and leadership stakeholders to track progress.
- Own the sales pipeline, monitor conversion ratios, and deliver monthly disbursement and sales targets, especially for high-value deals.
- Share market intelligence on restaurant trends, credit needs, and competitive activity to support strategy refinement.
- Organize workshops and partner with the marketing team to create promotional material and on-ground campaign assets.
- Travel extensively each month across the assigned geography to strengthen partner relationships and drive business outcomes.
