Role Purpose

This position supports the sales function for advertising initiatives by helping execute sales plans, coordinating client communication, maintaining records and reports, and carrying out market research to uncover new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves backing the sales team with administrative and coordination support so that sales strategies and initiatives are delivered effectively. It includes preparing professional sales presentations, proposals, and contracts with attention to accuracy.

You will stay in regular contact with clients to respond to queries, provide assistance, and follow up on pending proposals. Building strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term loyalty is also an important part of the job.

Another core area is data handling and reporting: maintaining precise records of sales activities, client conversations, and performance measures, as well as helping create sales reports and forecasts for management.

You will also track sales performance indicators such as revenue growth, conversion rates, and client acquisition costs, then convert these into reports that identify patterns, areas for improvement, and practical recommendations.

In addition, the role requires market research to identify possible leads and growth opportunities, along with analysing competitor activity and market movements to guide sales planning.

Stakeholder Interaction

Internal stakeholders include the Lead - Sales - Advertisement, Marketing, Finance, Commercial, and Human Resources teams. External interaction will be with clients, advertising agencies, vendors, and concessionaires.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 7 years of experience in sales support, preferably within advertising or media.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite role based in the Greater Lucknow Area.
