Job description
Role Overview
The Performance and Rewards Manager will be responsible for managing JTC Corporation's performance management and total rewards systems. This role ensures employees receive fair and competitive recognition and rewards that support the organisation's objectives. The position involves leading annual HR exercises and collaborating with senior leadership to update and enhance reward strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee yearly performance management processes such as appraisal cycles, employee rankings, promotions, salary increases, and merit adjustments.
- Evaluate and refine performance management policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Public Service Division (PSD) guidelines and organizational performance principles.
- Lead compensation and benefits assessment activities including market salary benchmarking, conducting salary surveys, and performing job evaluations to maintain competitiveness in talent attraction and retention.
- Provide coaching and resources to line managers and HR business partners to facilitate impactful performance discussions with employees.
- Work closely with HR Systems and Data teams to utilize analytics for informed decision-making in rewards policies and strategy adjustments.
- Collaborate with Industrial or Employee Relations specialists to manage grievances pertaining to performance results.
- Stay updated on whole-of-government (WOG) trends in performance management and rewards, advising on possible improvements to JTC’s frameworks.
Candidate Profile
- Possess between 5 to 8 years of professional experience in areas related to Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, or Human Resources.
- Hold qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Singapore's public sector HR practices, including familiarity with PSD guidelines and relevant employment laws.
