Role overview

Larsen & Toubro is hiring an Assistant Manager - Sales for its Bengaluru, Karnataka office. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on driving sales closures, coordinating customer interactions, and supporting sales execution through strong product knowledge and cross-functional coordination.

Education and experience criteria

Applicants should be graduates with an MBA/PGDM. For candidates from non-engineering backgrounds, at least 2 years of work experience after graduation and before the MBA/PGDM is required.

Technical and business tools

The role calls for working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SAP.

Core responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the product and the sales process to represent the offering effectively.
  • Own assigned leads end-to-end and pursue them consistently until closure.
  • Maintain a monthly sales calendar covering all planned events and activities.
  • Track competitors closely, including pricing, offers, project features, and any other details that support effective selling.
  • Stay current on HFI activities and maintain their connection with customers.
  • Coordinate with CRM and Marketing teams to gather timely updates and pass relevant feedback to customers.
  • Work toward achieving the sales targets set with the reporting manager.
