Role Summary and Responsibilities

The candidate will oversee Engineering Stores activities ensuring smooth management of materials and spares to support round-the-clock plant operations. Responsibilities include managing material ordering and control via SAP, supervising refurbishment and overhaul tasks for spare parts, and enhancing delivery oversight to prevent loss or shortage of critical production items.

Additional duties involve maintaining housekeeping standards by placing all materials on approved racks, verifying supplier bills, expediting receipt clearance, and conducting physical stock checks aligning with party challans. Deviations must be reported to the Head Office promptly.

The role requires continuous improvement of Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) compliance with established protocols. Performance management processes such as goal setting and periodic reviews for teams are necessary. Identification and delivery of on-the-job training, people development through coaching, and coordination with HR for competency growth are expected.

Eligibility

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.).
