Role Overview
The Associate Manager of Administration is responsible for overseeing comprehensive administrative operations at the project site, ensuring adherence to company standards and business objectives. This leadership role involves managing facilities, vendor relations, budgets, and supporting cross-functional teams to maintain smooth and efficient workplace functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all administrative activities aligned with operational and business goals.
- Supervise facility upkeep, security, and housekeeping to maintain a secure and effective work environment.
- Develop and enforce administrative policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with various teams including HR, operations, and technical departments to bolster site operations.
- Handle vendor contracts and relationships to secure cost-effective, high-quality services.
- Monitor administrative budgets ensuring resource optimization and cost efficiency.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of necessary office supplies and equipment.
- Guide and mentor the administrative team fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Assist Site HR Head in organizing employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity.
- Implement and supervise health, safety, and environmental standards in administrative tasks supporting sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- 10 to 15 years of proven experience in general administration, preferably within large-scale industrial or power sector enterprises.
- Expertise in managing administrative operations including facility and vendor management as well as resource optimization.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a history of fostering operational excellence and managing teams effectively.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA in Administration or Operations Management is preferred.
