Job Overview
The Associate Relationship Manager for Corporate Liability at IDFC FIRST Bank is responsible for formulating and executing a corporate liability strategy within a designated city or region. The role focuses on targeting top-tier clients in the coverage area with the goal of client acquisition and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate acquisition of new-to-bank corporate current accounts and manage a portfolio of corporate liability clients personally sourced.
- Generate Cash Management Services (CMS), Trade Processing, and Foreign Exchange (FX) transactions predominantly from cash-rich corporate clients such as digital-first companies, local IT/ITES firms, and multinational subsidiary companies through tailored onboarding and customized solutions.
- Engage with founders of well-funded startups including online aggregators, e-commerce, and fintech companies to deliver comprehensive cash and trade solutions while facilitating their onboarding.
- Structure and develop Liquid Asset or Cash-backed lending products with a concise credit assessment process.
- Nurture robust relationships with private equity and venture capital funds, incubators, and extend networking to prominent law firms and chartered accountants to provide optimal financial and trade solutions for their portfolio companies.
- Maintain and expand existing client relationships by increasing current account balances, term deposits, CMS, trade, and FX volumes, while maximizing revenue generation through these channels.
- Cross-sell additional banking products such as salary accounts and wealth management services to augment wallet share.
- Collaborate closely with Product Sales Managers and implementation teams across all banking product verticals to meet business objectives.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Possession of a graduate degree from any discipline is mandatory.
- Post-graduate qualifications in any field are also preferred.
- Prior experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in the acquisition of corporate current accounts is essential.
