Role Overview

As an Automation Manager at PimpUP, you will design and implement automation scenarios using tools like Make and n8n, covering functions from lead generation flows to CRM pipelines and internal operational processes. You will be responsible for integrating APIs, setting up webhooks, and ensuring data flows accurately and cleanly across platforms without duplication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop automation workflows across various systems including marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Integrate APIs and configure webhooks to guarantee flawless data transmission.
  • Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI or Gemini within workflows to classify incoming requests, generate text, and extract structured data from unstructured inputs.
  • Analyze current procedures for automation potential and improve operational efficiency.
  • Create comprehensive documentation so that workflows remain understandable and maintainable by the wider team over time.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and project management teams to translate their needs into logical automation solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, test novel platforms, and proactively introduce innovative ideas.

Candidate Profile

  • Proficient with Make or n8n through hands-on experience building, maintaining, and enhancing complex automation scenarios independently.
  • Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript or Python.
  • Experience integrating LLMs into automation for text generation, classification, or data extraction tasks.
  • Practical familiarity with business tools including Airtable, Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Gmail), Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook), and Calendly.
  • Proven experience with CRM systems, particularly Pipedrive (mandatory), with additional knowledge of HubSpot or Close being favorable.
