Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team in Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Pune, Mumbai, or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level experience in Java, Cucumber BDD, and Selenium, along with experience in API testing. This role involves developing and executing test scenarios, creating automated test scripts using BDD frameworks like Gherkin, and contributing to end-to-end testing within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document test scenarios, identifying specific test cases and writing test scripts utilizing Business Driven Development (BDD) principles, such as Gherkin.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and design automated tests.
• Perform test automation using Selenium with Java, applying knowledge of automation frameworks and web services/API concepts.
• Leverage test automation tools to ensure efficient and timely end-to-end test execution.
• Collaborate with UAT leads to conduct end-to-end testing for production-like workflows.
• Monitor, report, and re-test defects identified during the testing process.

Required Skills and Experience

• Expert-level proficiency in Java and Selenium.
• Experience with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Proven experience in test automation and automation frameworks.
• Understanding of web services and API concepts, with experience in testing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Additional Information

This position requires 6-10 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be available for a virtual interview on June 13th, 2026, between 10 PM and 1 PM. The role involves working with evolving methodologies and requires a proactive approach to learning.
