Role Overview

This role is a full-time, on-site Babysitter position based in Mumbai at Jewels By Queenie - India. The Babysitter's responsibility is to provide vigilant, secure, and engaging care for children while their parents or guardians are occupied in the showroom or related areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise children consistently to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities to engage the children effectively.
• Assist children with basic needs, including snack times and maintaining hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the play area at all times.
• Communicate clearly and considerately with parents or guardians about the children's activities and general state.
• Adhere strictly to company safety guidelines related to childcare.
• Support a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere within the environment.
• Coordinate with store personnel as necessary to organize children’s care during visits and special events.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in babysitting and childcare with an emphasis on safety, patience, and responsiveness.
• Capability to work effectively with children of various age groups by establishing trust and respectful interaction.
• Competency in guiding and teaching children through simple activities and reinforcing positive behaviors.
• Excellent communication skills tailored for both children and adults, with the ability to stay composed in active retail or event settings.
• Basic understanding of child safety measures, first aid knowledge (formal certification is an asset), and emergency procedures.
• Prior work history in childcare, babysitting, or early childhood education is advantageous.
• Dependability, punctuality, and readiness to commit to full-time on-site work in Mumbai are necessary.
