Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Acquire essential bartending skills within a premium whisky-focused pub atmosphere.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of whisky and cocktail varieties, their origins, production techniques, and flavor characteristics.
• Assist bartenders during busy shifts to ensure smooth bar operations.
• Prepare and serve beverages adhering to brand and quality criteria, under supervision.
• Provide warm, informed, and engaging service to patrons.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and well-stocked bar inventory.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and licensing guidelines.
• Support and participate in events, tastings, and whisky-centric experiences.
• Develop speed, precision, and professionalism in bartending duties.
• Exhibit passion for whisky, hospitality, and a commitment to ongoing learning.

Candidate Requirements

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to maintain efficiency and composure under high-pressure, peak times.
• Previous experience in food and beverage or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory, as training is provided.
• Friendly, attentive, and dedicated to excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Good physical fitness and capacity to stand for extended periods.
