Job description
Overview
This opportunity is for a Brand Designer with a partner organization operating in Ireland. The hiring company handles the application flow and all later stages of the process.
The role is part of a globally distributed, developer-focused business where brand narrative is central to how millions of developers understand and engage with the product suite.
You will turn technical concepts into clear, engaging visual stories across digital, print, and live experience formats. The work spans presentations, social content, swag, conference collateral, and other brand touchpoints that shape the company’s global presence.
You will work in an async-first, fast-moving environment that values independence, experimentation, and strong ownership. This is a chance to help define a developer-loved brand with a strong open-source mindset and worldwide reach.
Responsibilities
- Create and continuously refine visual storytelling for presentations, pitch materials, conference assets, print pieces, video, and digital campaigns.
- Partner with Marketing, DevRel, Success, Enterprise, and Events teams to transform ideas into polished and effective creative output.
- Build consistent visual experiences across online and offline formats while keeping the brand clear, recognizable, and aligned.
- Apply and uphold brand standards across all deliverables so that identity and messaging stay uniform across regions and channels.
- Own design delivery end to end across multiple mediums, including print, digital, social, and event branding.
- Produce high-quality visuals with careful attention to detail and strong communication impact for technical audiences.
- Bring forward ideas proactively and contribute creative direction in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Brand Designer or in a closely related role within a fast-paced, digital-first, or tech environment.
- Advanced ability with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Hands-on experience designing for several formats such as digital assets, print materials, and presentations.
- Strong grasp of branding principles, visual storytelling, and design systems.
- Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical collaborators.
- Experience in remote, async, or globally distributed teams is considered highly valuable.
- Strong eye for detail, including familiarity with print production requirements and specifications.
- Comfort working through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Proactive approach with the ability to suggest ideas, iterate quickly, and respond well to feedback.
- A portfolio that shows brand systems, campaign work, and multi-format design execution.
- Interest in developer tools, open-source ecosystems, or technical audiences is an added advantage.
Perks
- Fully remote, global-first working setup.
- Equity participation through ESOP.
- Allowance for home office and technology setup.
- Health insurance for employees and dependents.
- Annual off-sites and global team meetups.
- Flexible working style with an async-first culture.
- Yearly budget for learning and professional growth.
- Co-working support or global WeWork access.
- Opportunity to contribute to widely used developer products and open-source tools.
- A culture that rewards autonomy, ownership, and high-impact design.
