Role overview
Clio is looking for a Brand Designer to join its Creative team and help shape the future of the brand. This position is suited to someone who values strong craft, works thoughtfully, and wants to contribute work that has a meaningful impact beyond a single assignment.
This opportunity is open to candidates located in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver.
What you will do
You will own brand design work from concept to final quality control, contributing to Clio's global brand expression, campaigns, and a growing set of sub-brands. The role combines hands-on production with room for conceptual thinking, requiring someone who can protect brand standards while also helping evolve them.
- Design brand-led creative across multiple formats, including advertising, social content, case studies, presentations, experiential work, and related channels.
- Manage projects from the initial brief through final QA and delivery.
- Refine and expand Clio's visual identity while keeping the brand cohesive and forward-looking.
- Create new visual identities and design systems for sub-brands.
- Support marketing, demand generation, and events with a wide variety of communication and campaign assets.
- Work closely with creative leads and cross-functional partners to produce high-quality, polished work on tight timelines.

Experience and skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in brand design, either at a creative agency or in-house.
- A portfolio showing a broad range of work, including brand systems, campaign design, and multi-channel execution.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Comfort using AI-based design tools such as Midjourney, Krea, or similar tools as part of the creative workflow.
- Excellent ability to storytell visually and structure concepts before detailed design begins.
- Strong communication and prioritization skills with the ability to juggle several projects at once.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines without sacrificing craft.
Nice to have
- Experience creating or scaling design systems for brands.
- Background in SaaS, legal technology, or another complex regulated sector.
- Familiarity with presentation tools such as Keynote and Google Slides for executive and event materials.
- A strong eye for typography and a clear point of view on type.

Salary
The expected pay range for this role is CAD 71,500 to CAD 96,700 annually, with a midpoint of CAD 84,100. Clio notes that salary bands vary by region and that final offers depend on location, relevant experience, and skill set.
