Role Overview
We are seeking a Brand Designer to join our Brand Creative team, responsible for defining how Vanta visually communicates across a variety of media including digital, print, and campaigns. The ideal candidate is someone with strong design fundamentals, an eye for detail, and a passion for typography and composition. You'll be attuned to cultural trends, social media visual languages, and actively explore innovative tools like AI to enhance design quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create premium-quality brand materials spanning digital platforms, web, campaigns, print, including campaign visuals, social media assets, presentations, editorial content, reports, and sales collateral.
- Support the ongoing development and upkeep of Vanta's brand identity system.
- Convert creative briefs into visual designs adhering to brand standards.
- Design layouts, visual frameworks, and scalable templates to boost consistency and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and cross-functional teams to execute impactful brand expressions.
- Employ strong typography and compositional skills in all projects.
- Curate and apply photography, illustrations, and graphic elements to emphasize brand storytelling.
- Prepare production-ready files ensuring precision and quality across deliverables.
- Experiment with new design tools including artificial intelligence to accelerate and refine work processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design or a related discipline.
- Over five years of experience specializing in brand design, ideally with exposure to in-house teams or agency settings.
- A portfolio that reflects mastery in typography, layout, and visual systems.
- Proven experience maintaining and evolving established brand guidelines.
- Exceptional attention to visual craftsmanship and detail.
- Proficient with design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A collaborative approach and ease working with diverse teams.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements.
- Demonstrated openness to enhancing design skills through AI tools, showing curiosity, responsibility, and effective judgment.
- Additional strengths include familiarity with AI-driven design workflows and some motion design literacy.
